Specialised

Roles with industry-specific demands and their own credentialing.

What it covers

Some roles cannot be described by discipline alone because the requirement is a credential, a compliance rule or a regulated workflow. These are still remote-capable — but what determines feasibility is the requirement, not the task.

What they do

  • Paralegal and legal administrative support
  • Immigration case preparation and document handling
  • Medical virtual assistance and patient coordination
  • Recruitment and HR administration
  • Data science and advanced analytics
  • Virtual teaching and instructional support
  • Virtual fitness instruction and programming
  • E-commerce store and marketplace management

Working remotely

The requirement decides, not the task

A paralegal supporting a U.S. firm, or an assistant handling patient information, sits inside rules about who may do what and how data is handled. Those rules vary by role and jurisdiction and they are the first thing to establish — not the last. Bring the requirement to the call and it can be answered directly.

Working hours, not time zones

7–9 hours of overlap with a 9–6 New York day

Overlap Their day, outside yours
  • Mexico City 8h
  • Bogotá 9h
  • Lima 9h
  • Santiago 8h
  • Buenos Aires 7h
  • São Paulo 7h
6am 9am 12pm 3pm 6pm

Each bar is that city's own 9am–6pm, placed on New York time. Based on standard UTC offsets; daylight saving shifts some rows by an hour.

Choosing a level

Which level do you actually need?

The same three rates apply across every discipline. What changes is how much judgement the work needs.

  1. Entry $7–10/hr

Structured support work under close supervision, inside a defined process.

  2. Mid $11–15/hr

Carrying a caseload or a programme with judgement, escalating exceptions.

  3. Expert $16+/hr

Deep specialism, with the experience to work without close oversight.

Guidance, not a quote — the level is agreed on the call. Full pricing

Before the call

What to have ready.

The search starts on the discovery call. These four answers are what make it a good one.

  1. 01 The credential, licence or certification the role requires
  2. 02 Any compliance regime that applies — and to which jurisdiction
  3. 03 What data they will handle, and how it must be handled
  4. 04 Who supervises the work and signs it off

Compliance and credentialing requirements are role-specific and jurisdiction-specific. Nothing here is legal, medical or regulatory advice — bring your requirement to the discovery call and it will be answered against your situation.
